See this is why...... you can't appreciate lovren and Milner for honest tries who have some good skills that have rewarded them hugely in the game... you don't look deeply enough.

Klopp really likes him and he had a good season there in a breakout year. I have no issue with it except his medical condition being right. At least klopp uses his eyes to pick a player not a spreadsheet.
I agree on Milner btw. There will be at best a straight fight between the two.

Seriously, if he had any risk at all after his episode, he wouldn't be playing at all.
Sahko will not stay if we buy someone. That's a certainty. He may not stay at all but if we cannot buy a top defender then selling him would be a mistake imo. Last year we had to play games with Lucas at the back ffs.....let's just hope we buy someone decent. VvD or otherwise.
Milner is a great professional and fit as f#ck. Lovren could be decent but he's a bottler. When someone has his number his legs turn to jelly. Not good.
He is deffo a guy that just panics at times 100%.
I think we have all see him do it but then that ignores the other times he is quite good. This is however why klopp is after a cb.
Given the choice of klavan and Gomez as reserve I would take lovren any day.
The guy is reasonably good in the air, reasonably ok on the ball if not great and most of all can play both right and left cb... with lovren at least we get that cover... if we get a cb.
Milner is a good pro, I am unconvinced of him at cm as most of the time I see really silly fouls. I can't see klopp using him as a no 6 for example. I think he will be lb or nothing for klopp
Youd think but it was unexplained... looking at his record (which is what i think Jimmy is going on he looks great) he played all Leipzig games after returning after that collapse. All i am saying is 65million pounds invedtment on trust seems mad, we want to be incredibly thorough after the tragedies we have seen in football lately.
If we get him his goals and assists and passing ability look very very impressive as does his work rate to fit klopp style but I want the club to be 100% on him medically.
They will of course. Any acquisition will have that level of due diligence. There's too much money at stake and no insurer (and they will be insured) would underwrite without that.
Was I aware? Yep - it happened. What caused it? I heard it was due to dehydration but there could be a more fundamental flaw. Who knows?
One thing I do know is that our medical staff will be aware and they will do all the tests necessary to determine if this guy is ok to play.

His season at Leipzig wasn't his breakout - he was brilliant at Salzburg as well (but no one takes the Austrian league allcthat seriously).
RBL had a few star players but Keita was the star man imo. I think you're right to be concerned but our medical staff will be aware and they will do all the checks they can.
This doesn't make sense - you just said Lovren panics which leads to errors but then say he's decent?
We simply can't rely on him - neither as a starter or back up. As you say, he panics, he's a bottler with ZERO awareness. After Lucas, Lovren should be the next to **** off.
I don't see why we're personally concerned about Keita's health. Liverpool employ people that are top of their game to do medicals. If he passes then who are we to say 'this is dodgy' etc.

You are talking too high level there. Yes he panics... on a few occasions but overall he is a decent defender. As in most of the time he does the job.
Its clear you are playing favourites and hated again cos the alternatives on the bench IF we get an lcb will be klavan or Gomez and frankly that's not going to work is it?
Gomez might go to Brighton and come back the following year. Klavan is a complete journeyman yet lovren who is better than either MUST GO.
Matip and vvd with lovren as defender on bench.. that's what klopp wants.
