Definitely feels like the Allam's are asset striping. They are desperate for the quick buck. I think they are trying to take out as much as they can to recoup what they didn't get from the previous potential takeovers.

Sorting out the backroom staff positions and then sell the club cheap this year.

Plenty of people having a bit of fun getting Allam Marine's Google ranking down from five star to one star, it's already down to 3.3.

Feel free to speed up the process. <ok>

It's not about whether they care, it's the attention that an entirely empty stadium would get from around the world, bringing the fight against them to a whole new audience. If this had been done last year in a game vs one of the Big Six it would've helped the cause no end.

But people can't stop themselves from lining Allams' pockets.

Nah asset stripping will never happen, we've been told that by those in the know on here.

You can easily get sued for issuing a fake review. And knowing Ehab...

I personally would advise anyone not to get involved.

They're just doing what they said they would do; acting in their own interests after the name change failed.

Obviously the experience of last year has shown them that their asking price wasn't going to be met so they are finding a different way to raise the money that they want/need.

£10m income from fans is more relevant than last season but still not a lot compared to £47m in parachute payment.

The one issue is that a fire sale doesn't bring the full value of the assets (player valued at £10m and sold for £8m) and so the club would be worth less than it was before (although liquidity would improve).

Could quite easily get as many players out as poss and replace with under 19s on peanuts + loan players.
Another way of stripping the club to the bone

There are not enough assets to strip to pay back what they are owed, especially if the transfer fees are paid over two or three years rather than cash up front. If they want to lose money they can asset strip and get out. If they want to make a profit they'll try and get promoted. We don't have that long to wait and find out what they'll do.

Moreno is on his way; Robertson will play. I'm with Fettis on this one...£8m for a young proven international left back/left wing back is a joke in today's market. Even worse, Dundee Utd are a due a wedge of that as a sell-on. Good luck to him, and I'm sure he'll do well.

Strangely enough I don't care either way.
When you have seen the Circus constantly for a few years you get bored of it.

Make sure you keep it accurate then, lack of communication with customers, tiny cock, that sort of thing.

    So we have 7 first team defenders from last season that have already gone or are about to;

    1. Harry.
    2. Curtis.
    3. Nokia.
    4. Robbo.
    5. Elmo.
    6. Tymon.
    7. That Norwegian bloke.

And we've brought in a loanee from Chelsea so far.

    Don't see the problem myself.:emoticon-0126-nerd:

The accounts for last season aren't out yet, they had a lot of money in their hands to play with, they could have paid a lot of it down.

He signed two more players this week. I genuinely think this is the plan, sign up youngsters jettisoned by other clubs.

The group accounts show that on 31 December 2016 Allamhouse were owed £68 million by other group companies. Most of that would be by City. I'd say the rate of expenditure increased in January rather than fell as he gambled on Silva keeping us up.

And just to add, there isn't really much difference between signing young lads ditched by Everton, and loaning young lads out of Chelsea's reserves. A chairman with only a perfunctory knowledge of football won't understand the distinction.
