Even accepting that Robertson was going to go at some stage, if it were Liverpool and we've been shafted on the fee, would any right Chairboy in their right mind not be saying 'sweeten the deal' we need 2 loanees, because it dissent look like they're coming from Chelski.... Ive said it before, good luck to the Slut, but of Silva had stayed, the likes of Thud wouldn't have been going and there would have been multiple incomings by now, because Escab fancied him...
Oh and BTW its not £8 million we'll get for Robertson as Dundee are entitled to a sell on fee, not sure of the percentage...
Hasn't it been reported as a 8m deal? Which means it's probably not even 8m. It'll be Ehabs way of screwing Dundee out of any sell on.

You live in hope and prepare for the worst. Unless the Trust are talking to the club behind closed doors I'd say it died. After the 8th of June I'd say the alternative looks slightly closer though.
It's a great move for Robertson, no idea why Liverpool have bought him though, he's not good enough for a team in the Champions League and looking to finish top 4. Huddlestone going is a massive kick on the teeth. I can't believe the relegation clauses we put in contracts are a) so low and b) able to be activated by teams in the same division. I'm pretty sure the whole point of them is to offset the relegation wage reduction from the players point of view and allow them to stay in the PL. Not let your rivals pick them up for peanuts. Total incompetence again.
He's currently working with Ehab on getting in half a dozen 30 year old ish players with international/top flight experience that have release clauses with their clubs of 500k - £2m to supplement our loanees from Chelsea thus using only the Maguire money as reinvestment in the squad and the rest going into Allam's pocket giving him a tidy transfer/parachute payments profit for the season. Then I woke up.
Well .. Robbo going no shocker .. surprised only £8m though tbh .. Thudd probably going for a release clause him and his agent have negotiated is no surprise either tbh to me .. Let's be perfectly honest .. the situation from last season was ridiculous .. but to let it happen again this season is nothing short of unforgivable.. senior pros will look at that and know this isn't a place to be right now .. like Thudd like Davies .. and those players being sought will look at things from the outside and not want to touch us with a barge pole. Before we had the likes of Bruce and Silva who had decent reputations .. we now have the Sloot who hasn't managed outside of Russia .. we have a head of recruit.ent who appears to have failed everywhere he has been and we have owners who are a laughing stock in the footballing world. This season I'll be happy to survive .. with what we are likely to have available to us .. I can see us fighting relegation. I really hope I am proven wrong I really do .. but the way it looks at the minute the owners have no interest other then recouping their money
