The most positive thing about this Robertson signing is Klopp obviously see's something. He's young and fast, from the reports I've just read he likes to drive forward with the ball, and his defensive skills have come on loads recently (and still improving). Apparently defensively he's better than Moreno and Milner. Trying to be positive here, but not easy I think a big factor will be who ends up being the CB next to him.
He's being signed so Klopp can develop him. Milner will still be first choice but he can be rotated more. Unlike certain other clubs that buy relegated players and tell them "oh god please fix our problems right now we paid £30m for you" #ambition
We made up that thing about Remy failing. I think we need a very thorough look at Keita if we get that far on this.
Ahh, so he can only develop players he signs, got it Probably explains the lack of improvement in others.
It had included Ben chilwell and several others of that ilk, almost as if the thought of buying a proper one was so distasteful we have to buy a risk to feel we are doing a good job.
