it's an absolute disgrace.once again the fans who have prebooked travel will lose out.should have gone to eire again or norway where it would have been a home game anyway. many on here wanted a game at elland rd against a decent side like the spanish one a few years ago.that drew a decent gate as well. once again it all goes wrong for us,time to call the priests in and exorcise the demons.are we cursed ??
Correct. Once again, if Cellino was in charge, hed have been abused to high heaven for organising such a fiasco
Having the match would have been safer than cancelling it this late, now the town will still have the fans there with no game to watch. It will end up a drinking session and then who knows what will kick off.
And wj.... How mich were the plane tickets? What a shambles... This is worse than last season...You all still sure Rad knows what he is doing. Like two years ago mighty could be closer to the truth than the happy clappies on here.
And he would have deserved it totally. Club is still a circus.. We have a hockadayesque yes man coach and no preseason.. A team full of serie B standard youth players. What can possibly go wrong.
game called off by town mayor on advice from German police (Bundespolisen) who informed them they have credible info that a group of 60 known German hooligans were set to travel to that game and the mayor needed to ensure a larger security presence than they could manage (only have 30 officers) ... can't exactly blame the club ... funny how nobody on here complained about the pre-season being in Austria, or said anything about hooligans when the tour was announced ... so it goes, we move on
Hardly much point in n anyone going if all the games are either cancelled or moved. Why Austria in the first place anyway. Hardly a hotbed of international football. Could have travelled a couple of hundred miles to Scotland Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
