He literally nearly won us the league single-handedly, incredible really. Our team was bang average then, but with Suarez in it we could have gone all the way. That would have been one of the finest achievements in PL history if we'd won the league. I know it's a team game but you remove Suarez in that season we don't even challenge for the top 4.

Herrera executed that role exceptionally last season mate, I'm not sure what you've been watching but he was our best player by a mile. Pogba won't be given that role, he'll play as a box to box midfielder, and hopefully we'll get a DM in to keep the groundsman on his toes.
I remember, it was bitter sweet. We had to watch City win it, but at the time it was like choosing between two men to sleep with your wife as Neville put it. To make matters worse, we'd had a season of utter misery under Moyes.

The thing is I do think he'll become the best central midfielder in the PL in a few years. He just needs to knuckle down and work hard. What does irritate me is people saying he's world class now, purely because his price and his haircut. It's clear as day that at this current time he IS NOT world class. Does that mean he won't become world class, no it doesn't. I'd like Matth to just recognise this, like most football fans do.
