    I know.

He's no great player, but there's far, far worse around. Pep's not a complete mug, so he must see something there.

Mind you, he also bought Stones!....

Pep will dine out on his Barca success and hailed as one of the all time greats forever. He made that Bayern team under perform after Heynkes made it unbeatable and now he's probably going to spend £500m at City and achieve no more success than his predecessors.

Fraudiola also has no connection to that club, you can see he thinks their fans are crap and the club has no soul. He'll be gone in a year or two, onto PSG or one of the Milan clubs.

I think he could be gone at the end of the season if he doesn't win something.

As you say, he's spending a fortune and his masters will expect some success in return for that. They've seemingly given him pretty much free rein to spend what he likes, by the looks of it.

They were saying pre-season that he was being backed and challenged to win the quad... it's a ridiculous target. If he wins the title in this incredibly tough league then that's an outstanding achievement on it's own. I think they're probably favourites before the season kicks off, looking at how good their squad could be, but to win the quad they'll be nowhere near, they'll get bounced in the Champions League by a team who can defend well, like Juve or Atletico.

For the first time in his career, he's managing a team in the most competitive league in the world. There's no free ride like there was at Bayern or Barca. Any one of us could have managed those teams to a title.

We will miss his pace and that is it..Pep thinks a defensive line up exists of 'if Kompany is fit'.His pace will look exciting but his defending will get exposed. Hopefully they have another 50 mill lying around to give soft lad a brain transplant.

People might say bitter..but far from it...the guy was utter ****e, apart from his pace, then Poch turned up..being an ex defender himself, Poch builds from the back. We have had the best defence in the league for the last 2 years. In that defence has arguably been the best centreback pairing in the league, best keeper, best left back...if not the best, then the top 2 at least. The least intelligent player removes himself from that set up and it's us who are going to ****?

    lol new money mugs

    It was going so well...

Spurs defence has been solid in spite of Walker, I agree with that. £50m is robbery.

lol yeah true say...hes the next weakest link..kicks like a spaz for a top end goal keeper and is guaranteed a major meltdown in any match deemed very important.

I've seen him have some unbelievable games, then he'll have a mare like at the Etihad last season. Still top quality mind, but I reckon Spurs should go for Butland, that kid's got the lot.

I'm not gutted to see Walker go, mate. As I've said he's the player I'd be the least concerned about losing out of our team.

Pep has bought, and is reputedly buying, some quality players. He clearly seems to know how he wants to play and who he thinks will fit that system. All his targets are pretty specific.

First job is get them playing as a team. That's a lot of new players to integrate into a side. Otherwise he's just got a group of top players all running around doing their own thing.

If he can do that, he'll win the league or be damn close. The CL, I think Tel's right, they'll be done by one of the top sides, if they don't bomb out beforehand.

Worst one ive seen was against city when we drew 2-2. I'm sure you dont give a **** but i'm telling you anyway....there 2 goals were an utter meltdown from Lioris...amazing thing was it was like the ****er got possessed. He was pulling out worldies, commanding his box..**** was smooth. Second half he comes out as if he had just caught the rest of the lads giving his missus a gangbang at half time whilst he nipped out for a piss. The guy lost the plot...we find ourselves 2 down..then amazingly about 3 minutes later it was like it never happened, he was back to pulling worldies.

but then...he does look class for the rest of the time...weird

I think he needs to see an exorcist

That's the game I'm talking about yeah, the diving header clearance that he missed <laugh>

De Gea used to get up to all sorts of stupidity mate, the top ones are worth persevering with.

Of course over-priced... but Pep or City don't care if a player costs £20m, £30m or £50m... drop in an ocean for the teams like that. They can afford it. The likes of Lukaku, Pogba, Stones, Sterling aren't worth anywhere near the money they cost but the selling teams don't need to sell so can demand whatever they like!

The transfer market has gone mental! (although love the fact we have managed to pick up Hughes and Chalobah for a combined fee of £9.5m)

yup he doesnt care....my point is Spurs dont really care either. What we do with the money is what will determine whether this was a good deal or an absolutely fantastic one for Spurs.

The funny part is, City have probably left you with a better RB in Trippier who they sold for peanuts to Burnley <laugh>

Oh definitely - you have done extremely well out of the deal and have a replacement in already, who you was already playing at the end of the season! Now it should help you strengthen a couple of areas in the team...
