Indeed. 'Nobody has a better starting XI in the division' - what in ****ting crikey are they on about? I'd rather see an U23 at centre back than Hudds. Or indeed Ola with Lenihan at rb.
Not quite sure what's confusing about my post. The point is Ehab couldn't have been clearer about his plans for the team yet people seemed to completely miss it. I even posted at the time when everyone talked about the video, something along the lines of 'are we just going to ignore that he said the remains of the squad would supplemented by u23 players?'
Greg Luer missed all last season through injury, so obviously no-one was pushing for him to play in the first team.
https://www.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk/visit-us/leeds I see you have a special facilities in Leeds to look after Chris Wood
What he actually said said, was that he believed there were three or four U23 players who were capable of being promoted to the first team squad. Having a few U23's in your squad is not the same as having them in the starting XI. He also said, in the same interview, that our wage bill would be the same as it was the last time we were relegated and that would only happen if he brought in a load more senior players.
Yeah exactly, I never claimed anything else. Which positions in the first XI can't be covered by a senior player?
Isn't his name Chris Woo? And he's a bit of a donkey, never really figured out how he manages to score goals.
We've brought Alina to play right back, I doubt Slutsky is all that keen to start off with him playing a different position, there's also the issue of Lenihan not having played 90 minutes since 1972.
He didn't take a shot at you he only gave an opinion ffs. it's good other teams fans come here to talk it gives us something else to read instead of the constant boring old ****e some keep going on about.
I can speak for myself thanks, and I'd let the issue go because there was no need for it to become a 'thing', so don't try and start it up again.
