City struggling to attract talent....**** sake..I wonder why?
There are so many variables, I won't even try to list them...Life's too short...
Lets get the season started. One month from now we'll be two games in...If we get torn a new one at Villa, then struggle to beat Burton, then its going to be a long season.
Get something at Villa, then easily beat Burton then it maybe it won't be as painful as I fear...Wolves at home on 15th could be the acid test.

I think we should be more immediately worried about getting torn a new one by Oxford DB... <laugh><laugh>

So what would happen if the allams spend very little despite relegation and player sales?
Is there a rule saying the premiership money for final league position cannot be used to pay off debts?
As that is a significant amount of cash too

Im talking about prize money for league finish, and parachute payments paying off the allams gift although somebodys educated me on the rules of the parachute payments, who knows what the allams will do regarding asking price

I think we can all agree that the modern day football is ****ed!

The current transfer fees been paid are totally obscene as are the ridiculous wages.

Do we need an accountancy thread again?

Last known factual date (from the accounts), 30 Jun 2016.

At this point the club owed Allamhouse £77m and the bank £23.4m.
    upload_2017-7-13_20-3-36.png
Per the premier league, the club received £97.3m from them during 2016-17

    upload_2017-7-13_20-10-27.png

If we take a look at the previous premier league campaign, other income totalled £24m

    upload_2017-7-13_20-12-41.png

So, if we take that as a rough figure, income for last year would have been around £121m.

There is no way to know wages, loan fees, transfer fees etc. but you can speculate there whether there is enough income to pay that all off.

Guardian suggests that we should receive £47m in parachute payments next season.

I don't think there is any rules stopping the Allams pocketing the cash. However its £47 million this season and a bit less next. They are owed close to £70 million which means they'd need all the parachute payments to repay the debt. The income from memberships, sponsorship etc would have to pay for the upkeep of the KCOM, the players wages, the managers' wages and all the other overhead expenses. Taking the money would be an admission of failure by the Allams despite seeing well over a quarter of a billion pounds pass through their hands.

    ****ing hell calm down everyone.

Quite a few clubs are frustrated about lack of signings.
More important is holding onto who we have.

As it stands we've got a better first team than anyone in the division.

Some really do make me chuckle on here....last season people where going mad that our youngsters didn't get any chance to play and show what they could do, looks like they will this season and still the fans moan about it!

    Typical ;)
