Jesus H Christ on a bicycle, lads! Let's get real. The chances of a marquee signing is so remote as to be capable of being dismissed as fantasy. As Alain de Pardieu has said (one of the few things I agree with him on) "we are where we are" - a bottom half premiership side, operating within tight fiscal paramaters. Our signings are likely to relect that, so as long as what comes in is better than what is already here, we should be happy with that.

 

Your basing this on the fact that he has 10 caps for Holland? A country who played Van Brockhorst at left back till he was like 36? Mario Melchiot even got 22 caps for Holland

 

Cissokho has put in a transfer request and Lyon are supposed to be wanting 7m for him. Based on this there could be a decent chance of getting him, also he is french.

Can't understand why people are putting the idea across that Pieter's is a poor left back. People who are saying they have seen him in PSV jokes are probably lying, they will have seen the fact he is slowish pased on FM and FIFA.
And if you have seen him it will have been 5 mins of a PSV game.

Raylor to start at LB against Sunderland. I really hope we don't get Bridge, especially as he's terrible and going to cost us £2m on loan.

Surely the easiest way to stop Bridge signing is for Colo to phone him up and ask what his missus is like in the sack.
