I'd definitely take Lambert. He would offer us something different.

I definitely wouldn't, he had a horrific injury last season. He came back and was ****e. Warnock basically told him he had no future at Cardiff so they mutually cancelled his contract.

Jay DaSilva is apparently being lined up on loan from Chelsea. Left back, pacey and strong.

This is embarrassing. Basically Ehab looks at a signing that we didn't use and thinks what a waste of money. Reasonable, but to suggest it was a dodgy deal orchestrated by Bruce is ridiculous. SB is respected in the game for his integrity and you're listening to Ehab over him.

Fact is, Ehab hated Bruce and desperately wanted him gone because he'd told Ehab he was a ****. Which he is. Even if he wasn't a notorious bullshitter, you'd have to take anything he says about Bruce with a huge pinch of salt.

A Chelsea supporting mate based in Windsor I went to uni with. Tenuous at best, but would at least cover Robertson if he does go.

He's away with the under 19s at the minute, so you'd think anything would wait until after that.

And SB also had a deal agreed with Charlie Austin. He was ****ing brilliant for about 4 seasons after our medical team told Bruce he was crocked...

The medical team did their job by advising the club on what could be a potential problem, Bruce and the club then chose not to sign him, the Bullard fiasco probably played in the back if their minds as well, looking back it was the wrong choice but it could have so easily gone the other way and we signed him and he ended up crocked

If ifs and buts were scratches and cuts, we'd have bled to death by now. The fact is, Austin obviously was a talent and even if he had been crocked, as he was some months later, he would have recovered and gone on to score more goals. Like he did.

What I never understood was us having a bid accepted for a prolific striker, but that when it fell through we didn't have a back up and instead just got Graham on loan..

Sure - but Bullard was actually ****ed and they chose to go ahead. With austin, they diagnosed potential knee problems when he'd never had any!

That Bullard transfer is the go to cop out for why we don't offer long contracts anymore, which I don't understand either.

Whilst the jist is right, they identified a shoulder problem, which he'd had before and indeed had again. ****ing stupid decision though.

Let's face it, despite some occasional evidence that the Allams will dig their hands in their pockets, overall their net spend compared to TV money received is well short.

The Allams are ****s, for many many reasons, those who pretend otherwise are deluded fools.
