I am thinking the wage rules and one in on about are factors as well as sakho's ego demanding massive wages. The reality of mid table clubs in 100k is not the norm there even this year. I think Palace do value him but believe they can get him cheaper closer to deadline day, largely cause of what you say, none of top 7 want him. Been little interest around europe. Would not be surprised if they get him for 20-25 around dd day.

 

Then he remains our second best CB - which is frightening.
