I don't think he'll get hurt beyond normal limits ... just Mayweather is a clever boxer , you don't get to 49/0 by taking risks .

 

He gets kicks and knees to the head for a living.

 

Fighters - boxers, that is - get hurt when they are involved in total mismatches.

MacGregor gets slapped around by ****s for a living. He won't have been in the ring with someone anywhere near Mayweather's class. Although Mayweather is old now, so maybe there is a 50/1 chance of an upset.

You play football, right? Or you have done. Ever stepped up a couple of levels to the point where you are completely outclassed, and don't even get a sniff of the ball? That's what MacGregor will be experiencing.

 

Biggest threat to Mayweathers undefeated streak since De La Hoya in 2007.

To be honest that says more about the quality of fighters Mayweather has been up against in the last 10 years than actually thinking McGregor is anything special.

 

aye McGregor will get outclassed no doubt about it but I don't think he'll get badly hurt. Mayweather not very powerful. He's not a 154lb fighter. He's tiny. Bad hands too. Broke them years ago

 

What like Canelo , Pacquiao , Maidana. Moseley? McGregor probably wouldnt beat the Irish Champion let alone these.

Hes no threat to Mayweather whatsoever.

If Mayweather is taking this as a serious fight McGregor is going to get hopelessly outclassed and stopped.

I doubt he is - glorified sparring session/exhibition fight. Cant believe people are buying into this and paying for it.

Did you honestly think that any of those guys had a chance against Mayweather? It's always been about timing for Mayweather, hes smart in the way he plans his fights.

Moseley and Manny were well passed it by the time Mayweather decided to make those fights, he could've fought them years earlier, especially Pacquiao, but held off and held off. Maidana was never good enough to start with, lucky to get one fight with Floyd nevermind two. Canelo is decent but was never going to be a threat to Mayweather.

In terms of timing now, Mayweather could be on the wrong end of it for a change. Hes 40 now, been inactive fight wise for almost two years and nobody really knows what to expect from McGregor in this fight.

All factors taken into consideration I'd stick by my comment, this will be his biggest threat for 10 years. Too many unknowns to be sure of an outcome.

I have to say both Floyd and Conor are tremendous fighters but none of them would have laid a glove on a half fit Bruce Lee imo.
