    Arsenal probably have more players up for grabs this summer than anyone. As well as those two (who naturally I would be delighted to sign, but we wont), I imagine that Jenkinson, Debuchy, Chambers, Gibbs, Szczesny, Wilshere, Walcott, Perez, Campbell and maybe Mertesacker could all be willingly sold.

    Mertesacker is retiring after next season to become manager of Arsenal's academy. So I doubt he will be sold. Not that I want him in the slightest.

    Glad also to see that the father mentioned Saints case where the tapping up of VVD had gone unpunished. The PL may not be fit for purpose, as he says.
    Hey, perhaps we should give the boy the once over. Do we do all our academic schooling in house these days.?

    The reason that these parents are so angry is that Stoke was already paying their son's school fees....which would have been ok as they started paying it before the rules changed. However, the rules had changed and Liverpool knew it or should have known it....so their son has been left out to dry. Even though Liverpool couldn't sign him, they have a moral duty to sort out the financial side...peanuts to them.

    I believe we do, but hell no to that. The lad is from Stoke, he is likely to be miles behind our Academy graduates in intellect. I suppose a little Saints education may have him a slightly better Ryan Shawcross on a good day giving a post match interview, constructed in the main of 'yeah, you know and erm'...

    Yep. But they will get away with it! The Premier League, don't have the balls, to doing anything about it. Unless perhaps, Saints handover their evidence, of the VVD tap up.
    I bloody hope so, how great would it be, that LFC end up with a long transfer ban
