That smacks of someone with links to Ehab listening a bit too closely to him. To most clubs a signing on fee for a free agent is normal. To Ehab I'm sure he would see it as extortionate, but it wasn't a problem for a rival club with normal owners who know football even though they only wanted to sign HRK as a backup player.
This is all to do with money. Tom was a free agent last season and signed for us. I'm sure derby wanted him then. He stayed cos of pl money. If we'd survived do you think he'd a signed for derby? Would he ****. The season before Brucey was touting him around everywhere and no one wanted him after a piss poor season in the PL. This is toms last payday. If a div 1 side had the cash and paid him more he'd go there, with a load of bullshit about it being a project and bought into it etc etc Pension money this for him.
yes you keep on with your personal digs at me, little boy. aw whats wrong? not enough sex? I was trying to stear the thread back onto transfers, but it seems to me like you wanna talk about anything but. OK shall we derail this thread?
It's sad how you always turn on people who've served the club well just to suit this story that there's never an issue with the Allams.
I be the they sold him for double or treble that. why should I. Do you think mourinho could sign lukaku if he was manager of Birmingham?
Mason was signed for a club record and Marshall for an incredible £5m, we could have got Joe Hart for half that, the other targets were all flops which is probably why we didn't sign them. And both were signed, in the the 'weeks of frustration' to which you refer. For the record nobody gives a **** about the second hand information on signings by other clubs that you copy from other sites/news forums and newspapers and re-hash as news.
