Totally agree WJ. Good player and would make us stronger especially from crosses, set pieces etc, but we have to forget him and move on. Will be interesting to see who we do sign though as he does need to be replaced. Hopefully one of the young lads coming through can step up to the plate but would be a very brave decision form TC. It can happen though...who amongst us thought anything of Vieira 12 months ago ?
Forgot to ask you something WJ... As you're a fan of Cooper to possibly fill the void, how would you solve the problem that both he and Pontus seem to prefer to play left side of central defence ?
Fantastic news that over 17,000 season tickets have now been sold. As a consequence fans can now purchase a season ticket in the South East Corner for the first time in over 20 years ! Great times ahead...hopefully !!!
Also a few extra season tickets released for sale in South Stand Upper (SS6)...surely they will be snapped up by those of us that like a good snarl at the away mob !
Eire at least we now know Bellusci will not be Pontus's partner, so we either need a new CB or Cooper or Ayling will be it with Berardi & Anita at the back. All pretty good but we will miss Bartleys dominance and his goals
To be honest last season was pretty boring at times as we never really went after teams. This season on the other hand could be spectacular for entertainment as we seem to have so many more attacking options now. Or complete failure and relegation before you retort !
Its gotta work with all the 4 year contracts you've given out would hate to see you stuck with all that dead wood
A 4 year deal is great for a player especially when he gets to play under 4 or more managers in that time.
That's a fair point. As others have said though if 50% work out as then we should improve on last season.
