It's excellent for a spot of spelunking or house-breaking, but it doesn't make calls, send texts, take pics/vids or access the internet. It depends what you're looking for I suppose.
I had a shot of one a while ago when i was looking to upgrade. Its a fantastic phone but i found the fold out keyboard to be a bit unergonomic, when the key board is folded out the phone feels a bit top heavy. I got a HTC desireS instead. iPhones are for gaydos
haha fair enough i no everyones got one but i dont think i would change now, very easy to use, nice to look at good apps etc. Have heard that the blackberry is very good aswell though the only thing i don't like about it is the tiny buttons.
almost every major manufacturer makes a phone which is capable of beating the iPhone now. Samsung Galaxy II HTC Sensation BB torch BB Bold Google Nexus
I had an iPhone. Wasn't that brilliant, great camera though. Got a Dell Streak now though. It's fantastic. Just like an iPad but fits in your pocket. Only trouble is that Dell are going to stop making it, because they're ****s.
I've got one of those and an iphone.... it's iphone all the way for me... the BB is too sensitive and clunky..
You should look up www.gsmarena.com for news, views and reviews. I had a look at one and agree with KJII that the slider makes it all rather bulky. My friend who has one says he doesn't use the keyboard anymore, preferring instead to do everything onscreen. Blackberry have a new range or Torch models coming out later this year without the slider. You may like to wait for these. Look up GSM Arena and you can see what they are like. The iPhone is a better bet for ' screenwork '. I don't use one incidentally, preferring the physical attributes of my Motorola Defy. It is lighter, has a slightly bigger screen and is water-resistant. One or two Motorola foibles but these things will get ironed out with the introduction of successive models. There is a new Defy+ that is about to hit the stores soon. Again, look up the link above.
I've got a Nokia N97 Mini at the moment. Touch screen, fold out keyboard, and still small enough for your pocket without stabbin yerself in the baws every time ye sit down. Thinking Android phone next. Sumbdy told me there's an HTC that has a fold out keyboard. I'll be having a look at that.
With people like you deriding it as being "clunky" is it any wonder the poor BB is a bit sensitive? So would I be.
I beg to differ - you are a **** But anyway, i have a n iphone - its pretty good, but i dont really use it to its full capacity I do agree typing on touchscreen is a ****.. The app for this place is pretty nifty though
Yeah i agree a hell of a lot of competion out there now and they all seem to do the same thing, i've had an iphone for the last few years so hence my bias towards apple. Apart from 1 night where my touch screen stopped working i've had none of apples famous iphone problems and long may that continue. If i picked up another phone probably would be a blackberry. I'd say that i would rather have touch screen messaging than buttons now, but i suppose that is what i am used to.
