    Don't worry - he's not coming back.

One of the biggest let downs in recent seasons for us?

Adnan Januzaj: Man Utd agree fee of about £9.8m with Real Sociedad

Adnan Januzaj has scored five goals in 63 appearances for Manchester United
Manchester United have agreed a fee of about £9.8m with Real Sociedad for Belgium winger Adnan Januzaj.

Januzaj, 22, was told he could find another club this summer by United manager Jose Mourinho.

He returned from an unsuccessful campaign on loan at Sunderland and was left out of Mourinho's squad for the pre-season tour of the United States.

Januzaj, who has also had a stint on loan at Borussia Dortmund in 2015-16, is set to have a medical on Wednesday.

Januzaj joined United from Anderlecht when he was 16 and broke into the first team in 2013 during David Moyes' ill-fated spell in charge.

Deemed good enough to take Ryan Giggs' number 11 shirt, Januzaj signed a five-year contract extension that was not due to expire until 2018.

Real Sociedad finished sixth in La Liga last season and will compete in the Europa League group stage in 2017-18.

I kept expecting him to come good. Where did that teenager who terrorised you a few seasons ago disappear? I suspect we haven't seen the last of him, a few years down the line and he's be playing for Belgium on the opposite flank to Hazard, feeding Lukaku and Batshiayi up front - he just needs to find his bollocks.

Real Sociedad must have more money than sense.

He's worth 10m to a team in Spain or Germany on potential alone.

Weird that he didn't develop as people though he would . Seemed to go backwards in a rush.

So much ability. So little desire

Can you imagine how he would have got on in a Bobby Saxton training session!!!

I suspected that he wasn't the sort of player for our plight. Sort of bloke you'd need for sipping cocktails on a penthouse balcony not dodging bullets in the trenches. There was no way that he was going to able to polish our almighty turd!

As has been mentioned, great ability, but little heart....not the player a team like Sunderland should ever consider.

His debut propelled him into being the next big thing. He's been a complete failure since then. Real Sociedad have just wasted 10 million.

It's safe to say that he'll do better at his next club than he did with us, he just isn't the kind of player that is up for a real battle. In a side that plays open, attacking football I think he'll be a ten million pound player.

He was awful. Now reports from Denayer that he didn't really want to come. Who sorts these loan deals out with players who don't want to be there? Last season, specifically in terms of personnel, was the worst I have ever witnessed.

They both tried, just not good enough imo, the lack of commitment last season started at the top and peculated right through the team, Janujaz sic was our worst loan deal since Le Tallec sic, hopefully I will never have to mention either of them again. <laugh>
