Well Davies was a big one. Huddlestone seems to be another well publicised one. I can understand those who want to go and play in the PL but there's more to it than that at City. The players will understandably be sick of being ****ed about. They all had a year of their career completely wasted by Ehab on a stupid whim last season. And a relegation on their CV that they could do **** all about. They'll all know about the issues with contracts and stuff. When a player gets an offer made one minute and withdrawn the next they'll all know about it.
While share your sentiment about the quality of our local press, I think it's a bit hard for them to hold the Alams to account. The Allams don't give local press interviews, so any piece written would be opinion based with no meaningful counter or comment
