Feel a bit gutted for Nadal, he's always graceful in defeat and a true great. But well done Muller, what a game.

I'm going to miss Nadal's pre-serve ritual. I wonder if he realises he does it:- bounce ball with racket while right hand touches nose, then left cheek, then nose again, then right cheek then serve! He does that before every single service! :)

It's completely deliberate, and timed to take up the full amount of time you're allowed between serves.

In terms of purpose, it's the same as the kicking routines you see in rugby, it's meant to help get the player in the same mental state each time to help them deliver the same performance metronomically

Did you see him do his pre-court routine of pulling up his socks, then he does some bounces. On the first one, he forgot he was under a door frame, and cracked his head on it! :emoticon-0136-giggl

Konta started looking overwhelmed. Lost the first 3 games. She has just broken back, and she is playing really well. Back on serve in the first set. Great effort.

Konta is playing so well, but she cannot take any of these break points, and it's really costing her.

This game is making me so nervous, but that's what makes watching a sport so great. Konta wins the second set :D

She's impressing me so much. Even if she loses this now, she's gained so many fans, including me. Next Wimbledon, there will be loads of hype about her. Lots of media attention. That will be fantastic for British womens tennis.

That was a bit of a weird ending, someone screamed and Halep stopped playing sadly for her. But huge congrats to Konta.

Yep I must admit I haven't seen her play that much but I'm now a fan, what ever happens now she's done brilliantly.

Exactly the same with me. I knew her name, but I only really watch Wimbledon. And she's never really performed here. So this is my first tournament I've watched her with interest. She's been stunning.

The player has since denied that was the case, but hasn't elaborated on what the personal reasons for leaving are.
