You don't find him funny. It's alright. The fact that he makes jokes about being black is just one part of his repertoire. It's no different to Sarah Millican making jokes about being a Geordie or Michael McIntyre making jokes about being so deep in the closet he's finding Christmas presents. Just a part of who they are that they've managed to stylise into part of their act. Jim Carrey is also great, some of his stuff is on Youtube and it's gold.
Agreed, he's ****. I just used him as an example. Lee Evans annoys me, I've tried watching his shows but they gave me a horrible bowel disease.
My father in law puts Jethro DVD's on at Christmas. Absolute dross, it's unwatchable. When that's run its course he bangs on Mrs Browns Boys. I **** you not. Frying pan and fire springs to mind. If I haven't already I call it endex at that point.
Billy connolly Kevin bridges Peter kay Mickey flanagan Some woman who said her 6 month old son is gender fluid BCC All people who have made me laugh in the previous 48 hours
You know what, I've had a good laugh reading this thread (and some others) we have our very own comedians on our boards.
Likes: Mickey Flanagan (not his contrived tv, just his stand up) Peter Kay (everything, except the woman) Sir Billy Connelly and Kevin Bridges. Frank Skinner. Plenty of others ... **** right off: Michael McIntyre Bradley Walsh John Bishop Lee Evans Stewart Lee Sily ****s who feel the need to explain why someone is funny ...
Good call with john bishop. Really really really irritating. Though I quite like Bradley Walsh, not as a stand up but as a host. Think he's pretty good at that.
Another one whose whole set revovles around being black is Stephen K Amos, can't stand the bloke. With you on Parsons as well, terrible. I like Richard Ayoade.
