I've never really bought that theory I'd agree if they were older and had a massive fall out with the manager. However whether they want to go or not if they do stay I don't think they'd sulk about it for too long. If they spent the season in the Champs looking disinterested they'd never get their 'big club' move. If they play and are great, and work hard, then even if we don't go up they're still going to be on for a potential move If we want to keep a player we should keep them, if we don't then sell them, but I don't buy the notion that we'd better sell them in case they go on a work to rule

This is the first summer in my life when I am not missing the football one bit , usually count the days down until the new season . This summer been keeping myself busy in the garden etc , and judging by the way things are going so far it is going to feel more like an inconvenience having to go back , feels more like school holidays where I want the summer to last forever
