Unless Pellegrino wants a target man for the next 2/3 seasons. A Pelle type who can be the focal point of the atack, hold the ball up and bring the best out of Redmond and Gabi in particular. He built his attack around Deyverson, a 6ft 3 Brazilian last season and I don't think it would have been difficult to persuade the board to invest in a shorter term solution to provide better balance to the team whilst Sam Gallagher is given more time to develop.
