Wasn't kept very busy but got stuck in more than he usually does. Didn't get too involved on the attacking side of things, which was a shame. Though it's to be expected in a 4-4-2 I suppose. The goal came from his side of the field, but I didn't get a very good view of it and haven't watched the highlights back. I assume he was out of position as Hull's winger was in acres of space.

Conclusion: he's not the answer. We do need a proper leftback in if we're to stand a chance of promotion. He makes a reasonable stand-in on a night where we raised our game and Hull fell to ****, but I think if we put him there next Sunday... boy he's gonna get a roasting! Act quickly, Kenneth.

Wow it's like you got it all from Wikipedia, look up 1975 european cup final, the match was fixed thats why we are champions of europe. Champions of Yorkshire, biggest attendance and highest league place last season in Yorkshire, best fans and best players. Aside from the occasional spell in division two we've all ways been Premier league, and quite often a top 4 team, unfortunately we were in the same position as Arsenal are now, one of the best teams in England yet managing never to win barely anythin, always falling or been cheated out at the final hurdle. But saying that Hull's greatest achievement in the play off final in 08, hardly comparable to been cheated out of a European cup final or been champions of England. Leeds in League one were fallen giants, Hull in the Premier league were punching above their weight. When Leeds were in the Champions League semis in 2001 you were in league two. But I guess times change Leeds aren't challenging for the Prem title and champions league, Wigan are in the Prem and Hull aren't a miget club in league two, oh wait there still a miget club just in the championship now.

You needa geography lesson, Middlesbrough is in Teeside, not Yorkshire, as much as they wish they were yorkshire, there not. Btw even if they did were the holder of Yorkshire biggest club, just like Man U are the holders of the Premier League, and Man City are the holders of the FA cup, were the holders of Yorkshire biggest and best club, highest attendance, best honours, highest league position.

I imagine the West Ham match thread will be even more riddled with 'who's the bigger club'/'who's got the better squad' discussions.

If they've finally got some fans on here, that is.

He was ****ing brilliant at LB. Absolutely sublime. Never seen a Leeds LB actually keep up to speed with the opposition winger. He might be a bit lightweight strengthwise and theoretically... but when was the last time you saw a strong winger? He did amazingly well, because unlike Parker or anyone else we've seen (bar Lichaj) he has pace and also, he was hungry. Totally got stuck in every time. Number of times he made a mug of their winger (whoever the **** he was... was it that scum **** Brady?), uncountable. We all thought he was more of a winger than a full back but I say play him there. Get him involved, he's hungry and amazing.

Also, number of players we had on the pitch who had chants aimed at them tonight... beautiful. I really enjoyed giving each individual player praise. They were a unit tonight, an amazing one.

I've just driven down to London, so don't have time to go through all the new pages on this thread, but I can guess what they say.

Well done, you were good, we were bloody awful, though I thought your best player was probably Peter Gulasci. :emoticon-0120-doh:
