Maybe we could talk about signing the young striker from Liverpool, then not do it and complain about how he should be freed?
Nothing to stop us trying to sign him back, if he is indeed available. (I'm not saying we necessarily should, but it's better than looking at the past. And whilst £10m isn't loose change, it certainly isn't expensive these days either)
BREAKING NEWS Sky sources have been told that Leicester City have agreed a deal in principle with Manchester City for the transfer of striker Kelechi Iheanacho. The fee could rise to £25m for the 20-year-old but there are, however, a number of contractual issues still to address, including whether or not there will be a buy-back clause allowing Iheanacho to return to the Etihad for a fixed price in the future. We’ve also been told that Iheanacho has to resolve a dispute over image rights with his former agent before any new contract can be signed. We understand there is a willingness on all sides to get the deal done, and the player himself is keen on a switch to King Power stadium. However, no formal announcement is imminent.
Leicester are splashing the cash again this summer. Apparently had a £40 million bid for Sigurdsson turned down
Comes across as having a massive attitude problem, and goes missing far too often. There's talent in those boots, no question. Pretty much a perfect West Ham player then.
Foxes should only do that buy back option if they get 25% of any future sale. A deal that needs more complicating.
