http://www.nufcblog.co.uk/2017/07/0...n-their-way-to-newcastle-to-discuss-transfer/ Apparently his representatives are/were in town yesterday to discuss terms for a deal. Would be a good signing, looked good for Norwich and is basically a younger version of Redmond. Not quite the finished article but could be a top winger. 37 Games last year and 8 goals in the Championship.
Yeah I think that would be a terrific signing. He is young, direct and obviously has enormous room for improvement.
Worth a punt, then we've got Gouff, Atsu, Ritchie and Murphy. Maybe Aarons aswell if he ever sustains fitness. I'd take that up til January
http://sportslens.com/newcastle-clo...-for-jacob-murphy/213343/#q4W8Pzh04IjxELUv.97 Seems to be hotting up this morning, £8.5m would be a cracking deal. Just need to get it "over the line". Be very excited if this lad comes in, better deal than Traore and Navas for me.
Really good signing, but is he a starter? Are we expecting him and Aarons to fight for a first team spot? Not sure how I feel about that.
I think he's further down the line than signing ojo would be so think it's a good bit of business. Would like another experienced winger too if possible and would loan out Aarons at the start of the season to prove he can run without getting an owwie
Get him in. Him and his twin brother are both Newcastle fans apparently, something to do with a grand-parent from Newcastle. similar to demari gray, and potentially could be as good as Nathan Redmond who I rate quite highly.
Would be very pleased with those 2 through the door. Navas, Ritchie, Atsu, Aarons, Murphy would be a great set of wingers to chose from and we can withdraw the contract offer from Le Gouff. Believe Samarais, is close too but again we are haggling over payment structure atm and then the focus will be on full backs and another CM
I'd say he's a starter - definitely significantly above the standard of other Norwich players, scored a great goal against us at SJP. Aarons ain't gonna make it, doubt he'll be played next season.
Would take Navas WITH Murphy for definite, but Navas without him will be thoroughly underwhelming. The Samarais rumour won't go away, along with Gibbs (who's been left out of Arsenal's pre-season squad) I'd be pretty buzzing with the 4 of those, get me a RB and CF on top of that and I might just get Rafa's name tattooed on me nob. And Charnley on me arse.
Assuming we don't give Gouffran a new contract (which we shouldn't) we should be getting 2 new wingers in. No way can we assume Aarons will, a) be good enough at Premier League level, and, b) be fit for long enough to make any kind of sizeable contribution. If he plays it's a bonus, if he's fit enough it's a bonus, and if he turns out to make the grade it's a bonus. We need 4 wingers ahead of him IMHO.
