Shame as I think there's a player in there apart from 2 things - heart and respect! Hopefully there's a wage reduction clause in his contract- if we can't get the right fee for him he either publicly apologises and gets his head down or make him train on his own - can't let him disturb any team building with negative attitude.

 

We can sell him to Newcastle for £50m he is a world class player up there with Ronaldo. hehe.

 

He'd definitely be an upgrade on what they've got currently.

 

I can only remember the games he flittered out of.
I must have popped to the bog while he was having a 'flitting in' moment.

 

The only good thing i remember from him was his goal against West ham.

Some of the link ups between Lens and M' Vila were a joy to watch, and not just in West Ham game either, but as already been said its best for all if he moves on now, but not at any price, we have given players away in the past and this must stop if the club is to move forward. We have been such a soft touch in the past, but hopefully things are beginning to change, I am optimistic about the coming season and like many others have my appetite for the old club back.

 

I'm ASSUMING that his wages have dropped following our relegation.
If so he will want a move.

For reasons that are obvious to many of us, to date there has been no interest.

The remedy lies with the player, and those others who want away but have no takers.
Show the Football world how good you can be by playing your heart out for SAFC.
You may not get your move till January, but if you put in the effort it will come.

Well he's publicly stated he wants to leave, Fenerbahçe have stated they've made an offer and his agent has said there's interest in multiple countries. So he wants to go and there's interest.


Think we can write Lens off as definitely leaving.

 

We can pay 3 new players with his wages all of whom will try harder ......... no way he would listen to Grayson.

I think this is an accurate assessment of the situation, and its the clubs that lose out every time, something wrong with the system imo.
