No chance. Gray isn't for sale and no matter how much noise he makes he's not going anywhere. Anyone who thinks Gray has a choice in his future is sorely mistaken. Look at Ulloa and now Mahrez, they're not getting what they want, they're contracted to the club and the club expect them to be professional and honour it. Gray won't be offered assurances just like nobody else will. If he deserves to play he'll play if he doesn't he won't, same for Mahrez and anyone else who wears the shirt. He'll also have a much larger fee than £25m stuck on him, you'll be looking at Sterling figures for our owners to consider selling a future England international. They're not mugs and people need to realise that.
As much as Lukaku is a donkey he was their only goal scorer and without him they would have been near relegation. He scored 25 and the next six only managed 21 between them. That's pathetic. The answer now is Rooney, Sandro, Barkley, Klaassen and Sigurdsson (if they get him) to reproduce Lukaku's tally and I'm not seeing it. Also where would Sigurdsson even fit into their team? They've just signed Klaassen as an attacking midfielder and have Barkley as well so already have two attacking midfielders so I don't see how he fits in. They've got McCarthy, Davis and Gueye to fit in their as well to give them some steal so it would seem two of Klaassen, Barkley and Sigurdsson would be on the bench. Sounds like a good plan.
Yeah but why would Sigurdsson want to go there and be two of three on the bench? Doesn't sound like a good move to me. And to supply fat boy ha ha
Yeah well it works because look at Ulloa, still here and still happy. Had his spat and got on with it because we sign people with the right attitude. Mahrez and Gray will be the same.
Maybe he backs himself to be the one on the pitch, some players have faith in their own ability and thrive on competition.
Is being reported that Gregoire Defrel to Roma isn't a done deal - Roma are reluctant to pay the €25M that Sassulo want for him and we could potentially use that money that we've got to snatch him.
Not sure about the happy part with Ulloa, he is our 4th choice forward and will be further behind any new forward that we get and we are linked with quite a few - reckon it is more that no one that wants him can afford what we want for him atm.
I predict he will be motivated to score a hat tricks against Arsenal, Brighton and Man Utd and then move for £50M the next day...
You're misunderstanding as usual. Ulloa said he'd never play for us again and surprise surprise he has because he has the right attitude to get on with it. Mahrez will be the same next season as will Gray because they know they don't dictate what happens while they're under contract, it's about time players started respecting contracts and our owners will make sure they do otherwise they just won't play, they won't be sold they just won't play so it's not in their interest to have a bad attitude. Oh and you really do underestimate us and overestimate Everton by the way. Stuck in the past mate.
Oh and by the way I was just wondering, are Iborra and Ilheanacho big enough names or not or do we agree we can sign this level of player now even with Shakey?
Why are you even involved in a debate about Everton and Leicester? I'd ask if nothing was happening at United but you've just ruined Everton so I know there is which makes me wonder why you're not discussing your own club?
Oh and in case you're interested Shakey said we had been watching Iborra before we played them and that does make sense because we were watching N'Zonzi so of course would have been well aware of Iborra too. Once again proves what I say. Shakey has also now come and said the aim is Europe next season, as I told everyone months ago after I found out about the stadium and their 10 year plan. Again not info a security guard would come by hey.
Yeah that'll be about right. This is the best situation for us to be in because he's got no choice but to pull his socks up, he can't be lazy like last season anymore.
