Unlike me but I've not got much travelling at all booked Just had one Grandchild a few weeks ago and have got another on the way so we'd not booked things so we were around for birth (Mrs Tash was actually in there for it) and helping out afterwards, so used a lot of holidays then...more than worth it though! Might do Italy if we can synchronise leave from work, which looks tricky now Already booked to go snowboarding with the lads next Winte though, and might do a retirement do...in Hamburg! in Nov. Never done a cruise. Obvs it's on me 'now I'm old, I guess I better do it' list. But before I commit, a few questions: River or sea? Inside or outside cabin? Excursions or chill on board? First or second sitting? Deck quoits or hottub? Sociable or ****ing leave me alone? Stick with the Missus or car keys in the fruit bowl (so to speak)? I'd appreciate the advice of this forum, the members of which have probably got oodles of cruising experience, in one guise or another.
