In that case I was wrong above. Rajma as I understood it is just kidney beans in a gravy That looks good though and I like the mixed dhaal curries. Mum does a 6/7 dhaal variety which is fantastic Things like mung and channa is standard in Asian houses
Yes, I make mine with urad Dhal, I eat it with chapatis or pouri's. I worked in India for three years as a trainee chef so learned most of my stuff then.

That's not actually my house in the picture! I live a 5-10 min drive from there. Really nice part of the country. Beautiful old harbor and huge sandy beaches.
The much better half is from down there somewhere. We may well end up settling there when I retire, but only if it's far enough from any grandkids that may turn up in the next 10 years
An old Harbour with sandy beaches is paradise for me . Spent my first 17 years in that scenario and wish I was still there .
