Looking mint...it's a shame you're going to miss the good weather and festivities mate. Even I'm chilling today....beautiful weather...topped up with some nice munches. Till half 7? It usually starts getting nippy by then...everyone else goes home. Maybe next time x
I'm going on a rice and dhaal (different dhaals) diet/run for a bit. With meat as a side. So basically if I have masoor dhaal and rice then a grilled chicken leg or some grilled lamb kebabs. The rice itself will be not traditional pilau/brown rice or just boiled. It will be made with say a couple of tins of tomato thrown in to give it flavour. Or my favourite onions in olive oil then spices and tinned tomatoes then rice in, boil up and steam
I always do 9-7.30, it means I get every Tuesday off as I do 4 x 10.5 hour days. Working this weekend so I had Wednesday off too this week. Tomorrow is overtime so might just do 9 hours. ****ing lovely down here at this time of year, you can't beat it for flange, seafood and weed.
Yeah I am a big fan myself. Proper cooked red kidney beans with booked rice I could eat all day. Diced salad (onions cucumber tomato with some mint and hint of salt n pepper) has to be simple
The best egg curry for me is not made using boiled eggs Its a spiced scrambled egg curry with diced potatoes in it
When I was a student I used to make a tinned pilchard curry, used to go down a storm Can't stand tinned pilchards any other way
Yeah that's the one Nice base with onions garlic spices a bit of tomato, then diced potatoes until aldente and then the egg. Has to be runny though not too dry
Mate kidney beans made right on boiled rice is food of kings, I think lobia dhaal is what they call it in your ways back home We call it poti (**** knows how its spelled in English)
I just don't like the bite, the texture....Sack that Masoor, whole Masoor, Chaney.....I'm boring but effective
Rajma is that mate Depending on background you cook it slightly different but ultimately it is kidney beans in gravy
