I'm not sold on this signing but he does seem to score a lot of goals and that's what we missed last season. Mourinho is clearly looking to build a physical side.
Not at all Stan, none of the Chelsea boys on here want him to come back basically because he has not improved enough to be a Chelsea player whilst at Everton. Seems ironic that Maureen pushed him out of the door at Chelsea for the same reason. £40-45 million maybe but he is not a £75+ million player and never will be. But you must be thrilled with Jose filling your team with all our misfits hope you enjoy parking the bus again next season.
Panic 11th hour 59 minute purchase by the tight Yids....that's not the same as United/Chelsea 'ooooh look everybody, we are worth over a Billion quid' Everyone 'ok we will rob you then' Lol
Depends how you look at it. £75m to us is a lot less than £75m to Chelsea in terms of spending only money you earn. Spurs just spread their bets thinner you've chucked silly money away if you add it all up. Jansen, Sissoko, Lamela, N'Jie, N'Koudou What's that lot come to? You'd be lucky to get half your money back for that lot. Wages too, black hole. Paying £20m more than what Lukaku is worth is nowt compared to that lot.
But we don't boast about it....this is not about wasting money it's about getting shafted because everyone knows that you are loaded and it's something the fans boast about...'what does it matter what anyone costs'. We did with the Bale money what Everton are doing...spend the money before everyone knows you have it...then you won't get shafted
£90m - that'll do for me. I wish him luck, he gave us 4 years and it was a pleasure to watch him, especially as he developed his game with the help of Ferguson. We'll miss his goals and will now have to reinvest a chunk of the cash of a quality striker.
