Well luckily we've seen him play against us in the CL so we've seen how good he is and how useful he will be to us. He's a top quality signing no doubt about that and any articles you read will all say what a good player he is because he is.

The rest of course is true and that's what we look for in players, we want leaders with the right attitude and that's why we sign so many captains and why we have the mentality to get ourselves out of a mess or win us a title.

Slimani played 1281 minutes, scored 7, had 4 assists and involved in a goal every 116 minutes.

He was injured when he arrived, our injured for most of the season, never fit when he played and was largely played out of position in Okazaki's role instead of as a no.9.

Again you start spouting crap but you don't know what the fook you're talking about and he was still good enough to dominate your little messiah and score against you.

Yet he was still their captain. We know how good he is because we've seen him play against us and he is a quality signing.

I only care about stats when comparing how good they are haing each other and as I keep saying, you got ripped off with the messiah because e air as good as Maguire. Stats don't lie and his stats aren't the best but his passing accuracy is good, his work rate is good, his attitude is good, he's a massive aerial threat which is great for the way we play, he's a unit and can control the game with his composure and experience.

What a complete contradiction lol. You should have just posted the truth, which is you only use selective stats to try and back up your point, otherwise you'll ignore them if they don't provide any back up whatsoever

Didn't you beat them btw? A side who were battling relegation in the PL........<laugh>

They managed to turn it around and avoid relegation thanks to Maguire.

The lad from Spain was a bench warmer. But he won't be getting many touches as the ball bypasses midfield a lot with Leicester

Have you noticed who was voted signing of the week? It wasn't the Messiah who I'm sure signed for you this week, nor Lacazette, nah it's Iborra because he's a top quality player. Anything you read about him will say what a good signing he is so stop embarrassing yourself.

    http://news.ladbrokes.com/football/...te-to-premier-league-signing-of-the-week.html

    http://soccersouls.com/2017/07/06/g...ld-be-one-of-the-best-signings-for-leicester/

We know exactly what we're signing and know exactly how and why he will benefit our team. We put thought into our signings and based in the way we play and the ethos of the football club, he ticks the boxes. This is something Leicester put more thought into than most teams. For most it's pick the most popular player at the time with minimal consideration about how they will bond with the rest of the players or even how they will fit into their style of play.

Benteke at Liverpool is a classic example of this. They sign a player suited to the way Villa played and then asked him to do something else and it didn't work because they weren't playing to his strengths. Same with Bony at City. Not thought about how they would fit their style of play they just signed them, played them the way they wanted and they both flopped. This is way more common than the way we go about recruiting.

    Maguire £12m
    Iborra £10.5m
    Ilheanacho £25m (soon)
Total so far £47.5m and already obvious what a difference they will make.

    Keane £25m
    Pickford £30m
    Klaassen £24m
    Sandro £ 5m
Total so far £85m and you're going to be worse because you're losing Lukaku and replacing him with what? Sandro and Rooney? Laugh my fooking head off ha ha

Can't really see that much improvement with your signings, should be a bit better at the back but your other centre halves are pretty crap. Not really seeing Klaassen having that much impact and he's without doubt a Koeman signing not Walsh so it indicates to me that Walsh isn't being listened to the way he was at Leicester. None of our managers have picked players that haven't been presented to them as fitting the bill, it's always been Walsh passing on potential targets and we were never linked with Klaassen so this is Koeman.

None of you seem too concerned about losing Lukaku, it just seems like you're sticking uour heads in the sand and not facing reality because the reality is you're fooked without him. One man team.

As voted for by a betting company <laugh> You've got to be taking the piss?

Unlike you I can be objective, Iheanacho is a good player and would be a bargain at £25m in the current market. The other 2 are meh at best.

We'll replace Lukaku with a big money striker, we're far from done this window.

I like the assessment at the bottom of the Ladbrokes article...

"So all in all, it’s a signing that should really put the Foxes back in top-half and even top-eight contention."

    A bit of realism there.

Iheanacho is one player I would have loved at the Saints, we should've offered a swap with Bertrand as we are well stocked with quality LBs.

It's not though at all, we're still underestimated because people are clueless and we will finish above Saints and Everton next season, absolutely no question whatsoever.

I guarantee I'll be right and you won't be so smug then. The last sets of fans I challenged were WBA and Spurs and both fooked off with their tails between their legs so jump in and guarantee me you'll finish above us and let's see whose laughing in May!

I've got a bet with these lads already, but I would never guarantee anything before a ball is kicked as there are too many variables. We are getting new owners and have a new manager and haven't finished our summer recruitment yet.

I expect you to have a good season no doubt about it and I also think you'll finish above Everton as well because I'm just not seeing them replace Lukaku's 25 goals a season. Their next six players only managed 21 between them and I'm not seeing too many more with Klaassen, Sandro and Rooney if that happens. They're in massive trouble as far as I can see because they haven't got the money or the attraction to draw the type of player capable of replacing Lukaku and that's just a reality.

One thing you haven't got though is a team capable of winning the PL and reaching the CL quarters, we do and next season our squad is going to be very strong.

People underestimate us but they're stupid in doing so because our results speak for themselves. What people don't understand is our style of play is successful no matter who the manager is or the personnel on the pitch. We started playing this high energy, high intensity, high pressing, counter attack style under Pearson and we won seven out of nine. Ranieri carried it on and we lost four in 47. Our issues last season were because Ranieri changed our style of play but look what happened when Shakey reverted it back, we went and picked up six wins on the bounce again.

This is what happens when we play our style of football, it's not a coincidence that we pick up points on a similar ratio no matter who the manager or players are. Within reason of course because at the end of the season we had no defence or midfield because everyone was injured and our bench wasn't good enough. Won't have that issue next season.

I'm confident we'll finish top six because we're just that good and that consistent.

I'm good at these bold predictions. I'll run you through a couple.

Before a ball was kicked after we got promoted I told the WBA fans that our Championship winning team was better than their PL team. They laughed and called me deluded, I was deadly serious. I said Vardy and Drinky would both play for England and I said we would qualify for Europe within five years. They had months loving it while we were bottom for 140 days but I knew we would stay up and then I told them we'd finish comfortably above them the following season and look what happened. They're not so billy big balls anymore.

I had the audacity to suggest that Leicester would challenge Spurs for European places and again I was laughed at and called deluded and again I was deadly serious. In October they expected us to fall away like everyone else but not me, I said this is just how good we are, it's not good form or a purple patch because we're largely not playing well we just know how to win games when not playing well. Come February it was the same story, we'll bottle it because we've never experienced it before. I called bullshit and said they've won the Championship and a league title is a league title, it's just football nothing different about it, it's the same pressure as in the Championship.

So yeah I make bold predictions and I get called deluded for a few months until it all goes quiet and people start to think "fook, this cuunt was right". It'll happen and you'll remember this. I know how good Leicester are and I'm not one of our more pessimistic fans who can't see the woods for the trees, like AKCJ who still thinks Everton are a bigger club even though in 2017 you're not! People are stuck in the past but I'm not, I remember it but I see the future very differently because it simply is going to be.

I'm sure that Blackburn fans were saying things like you are now 20 odd years ago, but owners come and go and it is still mighty tough to break into the top 6 on a regular basis.
It's impossible to know how ambitious our new owners are going to be but I think it's unlikely that we will be competing with the spending power of the elite where one player could cost £70 or £80m
