Link to a Football Supporters Federation article re safe standing. I have always preferred standing rather than sitting. Able to do this at the non league games I go too. Also can "semi-stand" where I sit as in sit on seat but with seat up not down as I am the last row of a block behind which is an aisle before the next block of seats so I don't get in the way of the people behind me.
