We should use Dyer more often. If we can get a right sided winger as well that would give us even more option Vassell is useless as a winger so its pointless playing him

 

Is he any good in the air?

Beckford, to me, is one of them of those players i talk about as having the 'courtney lawes' effect (rugby union players for those who dont know). I dont rate him and dont think he is that good, but everyone else does so i accept that he is actually a very good player as everybody else thinks so. So though this doesnt at all excite me, ill accept its probably a very good signing.

 

I dont think he will come unless he has some sort of fall out with David Moyes

 

theres very little in it for him- he will probably do better at everton and play this season regularly!!

 

Does the fact Everton haven't come out straight away and rejected the bid (like Bristol did with Maynard) give us any hope?

 

Who knows. Maybe the have someone lined up and need to sell one more plus Beckford to get him and thats the reason why the offer hasnt been rejected

Beckford is quality and would work well with nugent. You just know beckford wouldnt have missed nugents 1 v 1

ng10 fox, we normally get the 11.30 from L/E, then nip in to the swan and rushes for a couple of pint before the game, tho as you say, a bit of a trek for a 7 yr old, and he prob wouldn't be too keen on the pub, its a real ale pub and prob more suited to old gits like me lol..............

Even if this is correct though, the extra half million shouldn't be a problem.

Out of all the rumours this is a very odd one and yesterday I thought it was pie in the sky. Now, I feel there is more to it. It seems Moyes does want rid as he has other targets (only what I am deducing from the rumours). Question is , why does Moyes want rid...is it Beckford's attitude? Pure speculation ...but then that's what this site is about..

I agree completely - people are forgetting that we are a Championship club, one that couldn't get CMS to sign for us.

 

Sven pulled out of CMS in favour of pursuing Maynard...thats also what WHU did too.

 

Did he? - Thought he rejected us rather then the other way around.

Probably should have gone for him but doesn't matter now - things always look different retrospectively.
