I didn't even realise that you were a Chelsea fan Costa helped you to win the league last season and he's been prolific for Chelsea. Most clubs would give anything for a striker like that. Can't help thinking that you're all finding excuses because it looks like he's off. Not complaining though, you'll be weaker without him.
So if he replaces Costa with Llorente, things go bad and Conte gets sacked (cos that's what happens to PL winners these days) then that's a good move all round? Conte needs to wind his ego in imo, if the rot sets in he'll be dropped like a bad habit.
Didnt read fosse's comment as meaning Lukaku and Pogba play for the same team at international level. But that both at international level have been bang average. Reckon @FosseFilberto got a good claim for a WFU here.
Lukaku playing for Belgium ... they even dropped him in favour of Origi at the last World Cup ..and in the Euros he was fairly easily handled by the Welsh defence ... Pogba for France ... bang average so far ... that's what I'm talking about ... now if you'd signed Greizman Pogba still has lots of potential admittedly ... ..but Lukaku is certainly no Drogba, IMHO ... happy to be proven wrong ... but I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it turns out similar to Benteke to Liverpool ... just my thoughts, of course ...
To be honest i didnt read it..i just saw an opportunity to elbow Fossey a few times please log in to view this image
Yup Chelsea fan Costa has phenomenal stats and he has helped us win 2 titles. Maybe i'm expecting too much for him to do it through the season. The one thing i would say is that when hes off colour, he sure loses the ball a heck of a lot and doesn't pass it so loses it more (also his control goes super bad). I would still keep him if he could perform half as well as last season where i would say he made a match winning contribution in half our games but was then abject after his January. If you do a quick search on chelsea board for me you can see me calling him out quite a lot post january lol. However i have a feeling costa being costa, he's going to "underperform" after that spat with Conte which is why we probably shouldn't keep him not because i don't think he could still be prolific but i don't think he will be prolific for us.
Neither did I but that's the only way that his post could have made any sense dude. You could apply that logic to a wide variety of footballers who have had great success at club level no doubt. The logic just threw me, they don't play for the same club or the same country and they're both young. Deli Alli and Kingsley Coman... off the top of my head. Although Alli has had no success at club level... back to the drawing board.
