That Costa to Atletico transfer is madness, he's Chelsea's best player. I know how talented Hazard is but Costa is a ****ing animal and he is possibly the most perfect striker for this league in all aspects of physicality and mental edge. An absolute winner. Conte looks like he has an ego too big to allow footballers like Costa to do things their way, and if he replaces Costa with Llorente then he deserves everything he gets, because that is utter stupidity.
I can't wait to see how he does at United, Him and Paul Pogba linking up, Oh my god, The scenes if he gets over 20 goals for us next season, I'm still in shock on how we got him though, We did a Willian on Chelsea in my opinion.
No offence and i know you need to look at your club in a positive light but this is like Wenger's view on the team. For many years now you have always been treading what around the mid 70 point mark and every year you fail because your team doesn't turn up to games even though you have the talent. Stan is right you guys are soft. Did you look really good in a 3-4-3, some games yes some games no but you were improving with it. Was it really the formation change (i would say half of it) or was it the standard Arsenal late season charge that you produce EVERY single year pretty much. Anyway specifically at your players, Xhaka looked okay in those games at the end but i'm not sure he's the player you guys thought you were buying. Not hard working enough and just looks a liability with some stunning passes but also sloppy ones. He is not that defensive lynchpin like carvalho or wanyama Your CBs, Mustafi i think will be better this year, Koscielny i have always rated very highly but hes been suffering a lot of achilles injuries. Holding looks good but still young and has mistakes in him, Gabriel is sometimes brilliant sometimes **** and lets face it Merts is past it in a back 4. He might be okay in a 3 but he's only had 1 decent game in the past year due to injuries and form. Chambers will really need to take a step up. What i find worry about all this lot is that there isn't a leader in their apart from Merts but as i said i'm not sure he's a starter.

Costas definitely a brilliant striker when he's on it. It's a shame he got those hamstring injuries for Atletico and for us and played through them because he was much faster before too. He doesn't get hat tricks but he doesn't need to as he always chips in with 1 or 2. the only damning thing i would say with Costa is that he's brilliant for 2 thirds/3 quarters of the season and then i dunno whether its a falling out or injury or he's tired but his form falls off a cliff. Plus the fact he gets the ball a lot he then proceeds to lose the ball every time he touches it and we go into a massive slump and he starts arguing with the opposition. He is a fan favourite though because he's very passionate and if he's on it i'd have him any day of the week. I'd still keep him but after the debacle with him and Conte i don't think that can happen. I will be a little sad he's going but it's not the end of the world if we can replace him with someone decent. Not sure he's our best player but he's definitely up there. Hopefully we don't actually miss him too much, we did okay when we didn't play him in the two games he was dropped and suspended. Won like 3-0 both times.
