Still finding it hilarious how Man United have "beat" Chelsea to Lukaku. We have shown zero interest in Lukaku, all the interest in a Lukaku/Chelsea move has come from Lukaku himself. HE was the one insinuating he had "unfinished business" at Stamford Bridge and wanting to be the next Drogba etc. Fact of the matter is we have not bid for Lukaku, because Costa has decided he wants to stay. I think we were looking to get rid of Costa, and he doesn't want to leave at the moment, that wasn't in our plans, but the whole Lukaku thing? Never even a sniff of interest from Chelsea other than hear say.

Yeah Ginger, not sure I would say that. Llorente is a decent player. If we are keeping Costa and Sign Llorente as back up, I am fine with that. But not sure we will be winning any leagues or European Cups with an attack spear headed by a 32 year old Llorente.
What glaring issues are they then ? On the contrary. One of the things Arsenal have lacked for a few seasons is a clinical striker.
Xhaka started to look like the player we thought he'd be towards the end of last season. But CB is not an issue for us. We have Koscielny, Mustafi, Holding, Gabriel, Mertesaker (boss in the FA cup final) and chambers who can all play there. Also since we switched to a 3-4-3 last season we looked a lot tighter in the middle and shipped far less goals. In fact we went on a really good run. If there's one midfield player we need it's another creative mid to replace Cazorla. But the one player we really needed was a clinical striker. Which we now have
You should buy William Carvalho, imo. Coq filled that role well for a season but wasn't he **** last year? Get a proper DM in and let your attacking flair show.

He was poor from the first half of the season. Kept getting booked and couldn't organise his positioning. When we switched to a 3-4-3 he really came into his own.
