I'd still rather be a premier league player than a Championship player. No matter what the circumstances. That's the place to be.
It would be good to see Snodgrass sign for us given he's already played for him at Leeds. It would be a cracking vote of confidence in the managers abilities that he'd be prepared to drop a league to play for him again. Probably wishful thinking again though.
Personally I'd probably be the same. Some more mercenary players won't think like that though and would rather have the payday,
I feel sure we were linked with him when he was a youngster at Leeds ? A realistic top signing for us and it would send a message out to his national team manager that he's up for a fight. He's tried it down south and it hasn't worked - We are a big club in everything but league success I'm sure he'd welcome the challenge of getting us up alongside the man who launched his career and nearer home territory. Only problem ... wages
Agreed Closer to his Glaswegian roots! He can be on a flight to Glasgow from Stanstead easily I think maintaining his premier league wages will be at the forefront of his mind
He is my wife's favourite player just because of his surname, it makes her laugh everytime she hears his name, so its a yes from me. Good player as well.
Thank you sir. After reading this I told my wife Sunderland might be signing Robert Snodgrass. She said "Sunderland are signing Bob Snodgrass?" and pissed herself.
I always think of this character out of the Whizzer & Chips when i see his name mentioned please log in to view this image
Not at all, but she has no choice in watching it and whenever she hears the commentator mention his name she has a little giggle.
Be strange but great to get him ! yes Monty would be chuffed he would be excellent in the championship.
