That's true about Rio, but that was a rare case. I think we'll see prices become much more even across all positions from now on, it's happening already and I see this as the start of things to come.
Well if a CB, unproven in PL CM and a Striker are all valued at around £70m then we are doomed. Glad we have a decent academy.
We had serious trouble breaking down teams that came to shut us down. We need a striker / attacker that can create something from nothing as much as we need a new defence
Iheanacho to Leicester for £25m looks likely..........it will be interesting to see how he gets on there
Think Man City are mad to sell, huge potential and Aguero is bound to be injured for 1/2 the season. Even Madder when they've kept Toure on for another year who is well past it.
Does he really want to take that larg a step down? Mahrez on his way out and Shakespeare back to route one football? Think it's to get other teams interested myself.
Citeh won't sell to anyone that they consider a rival.......... http://www.90min.com/posts/5036847-...-summer-but-offers-hope-to-two-other-pl-clubs Cheeky ****ers expect us to give them Walker though. I'll leave it up to you to tell Citeh fans that your boys are now a rival.........if you can't find any Citeh fans.
But Leicester will be pushing for CL and titles within the next 5 years. So maybe West Ham is a better bet?
You should sell Walker for anything more than £30m. He's a decent RB but easily replaeable. His positioning in defence is average just gets away with it at times with his pace and going forward he's nothing more than speed. Tripper is far better in the final 3rd in my opinion.
Blasphemy, they have the best player in the league in every position and MP is going to make them even better None of their "stars" will be sold because Levy is the bestest owner in the world and will keep them all
When we play 4-2-3-1 Walker's athleticism is a real benefit. As part of a 3-4-3 it's not so necessary. He's the most disposable of our usual starters and it's likely he'll leave but not for that little. This is Citeh. They paid the thick end of £50m each for Sturridge and Stones. We need money and they have loads of the stuff and tend to give in when they really want something, no matter what they say at the outset. We have a very good right back to replace Walker and a bright young U20 prospect in Kyle Walker-Peters, so if this takes all summer and doesn't happen it won't bother us overly. Walker will still be very saleable next summer with 3 years left on his contract.
