so by your rules hambuger sport veronin who averaged 50,000 last season are a bigger team than chelsea?
Said like someone that knows sod all about football - Mug. The only reason Madrid can afford all of the so-called worlds best players is down to the fact the king of spain supports them bank rolls there player spending. So Madrid bigger attendances ours, well your wrong there, Madrid a bigger club an ours again - prves your wrong and justtalking **** for the sake of it. As for attracting the worlds best players, with the wages they able to offer, due to the point I made early about how the spainish banks are told to lead as much money to Real Madrid as required, plus the "ture" fact we cant hide or lie about is the wearther life style-factor. Monday afternoon training in Madrid or in raining / cold / wet Manchester, I know where I would rather be so maybe some small facts corrected, in that one part!
Mate you must just be f**king so , so bored on here talking crap for the sake of it. Get a life fella, and go and watch "EastEnders or something haha.
you got roved wrong, saying madrid get bigger attendances than us, go check it out that is complete **** mate, you ****ing tard with no facts they get 80,000 a couple of times a year but they dont get anywhere near that in ALL their other games, average attendance in 2010-2011 was 70,000, uniteds was over 75000 sort your head out, you know **** all, you support a small club chelsea boy
Disagree, let him bulk up some first then give him first team again. P.S united aint the biggest team in the world.
Wow i've really riled some people up...bite little fish bite!! Comas/99 seems to be rowing on his own here, how many more posts can you put without someone replying?!?! Look fair play on the attendance thing if your attendance is bigger on average but I truely believe for various reasons not just attendance that Madrid still are and historically have always been the biggest club side in the world. Just in the last few years they have signed the likes of Figo, Zidane, both Ronaldos, Kaka etc. United have never been able to attract that sort of player. Various factors but the main one being that playing for Madrid is seen as the highest you can go for a footballer at club level. That's why the likes of Beckham, Ronaldo and Van Nist all wanted to go there...from you. Un twist you knickers, I'm not slagging off your club, United are massive and there's no shame being 2nd, 3rd, 4th in the world. You're just not number 1. And I don't understand what is a 'better' club?? There are bigger clubs and better teams. What constitutes a better club?
We are the biggest club in value by a long shot, we have the larges global fan base and have higher attendances. Only Ronaldo wanted to leave United because Real were the team that he supported. Beckham and Ruud both fell out with Fergie and were shown the door.
Personally I don't think signing players is the sign of a big club. Particularly in Real's case it's more a symptom of the tax environment and government involvement in Spanish football which allows them to offer higher wages, larger fees, and of course a better climate. In fact, I can't think of a single example of one of the best players in the world moving to the Premier League in the past decade or so. And when top players move to the PL they often fail to settle in (Shevchenko and Veron in particular) which makes it less likely they will want to come. Anyway, the whole "bigger club" debate is always a bit of a red herring. There is no single criteria that shows what club is "bigger" and trying to use one always pops up random results. Based on trophies won, Aston Villa are 'bigger' than Chelsea; based on attendances Hamburg are "bigger" than Milan; based on players signed Man City are "bigger" than pretty much anyone. Debating who's the bigger club is like trying to argue who's the best player - largely a waste of time because there is no objective way to judge. Like you say "I truely believe for various reasons", in other words I just think they are bigger I have no coherent way to show why this is so.
I forgot all about the Chelsea result inbetween, selective memory, gotta love it! Looks like I inadvertently ended up on your side of the debate, in future please think of your own examples lol. Its a difficult decision, I would hate to see him swallowed up on his OT debut but feel we need to keep faith in him until he gets through the next few games, Spurs will be tough as usual and fresh and Arsenal look shot.
Simple way to train for that (imo) is to send cross after cross into the box and have all the squad keepers jumping for it. They will toughen up if they have to compete against someone else who can catch it.
chelsea you made a point about attendance that was utter made up crap, now your saying it doesnt matter, your a nobjock
http://www.fcbayern.telekom.de/en/news/news/2011/30110.php As Swarbs earlier said even Neuer a more confident and experienced keeper is getting it tough. De Gea will developed and also rested at the appropriate times this season.
City are signing some of the biggest names in the world right now does that mean they are one of the biggest teams in the world? Or is it just the money. United, Madrid and Barcelona are the biggest clubs in the world by a mile. United have the biggest following in the world they are the most valueable club in the world and most televised club in the world. That would indicate that they are the most well known football team in the world. Not for one minute am I saying they are the best. Also don't pretend you are fishing. You made a comment and you were wide of the mark. People on here just like correcting idiots thats all.
