I didn't say there were no Jihadists. I have never denied the existence of a network of brainwashed terrorists intent on causing mayhem. This is what happens when you have a lot of confused, angry young men looking for a cause. Sooner or later some of them will come under the influence of dark forces with a quasi-political agenda. When that happens, they should be dealt with within the law by the proper authorities. That is how criminals are dealt with in a civilised society. You, I imagine, would prefer to instigate a lynch mob, because you are not civilised, you are from Essex. Pretty much the same psychological process is at work with potential Islamic terrorists as with recruits to far right groups like the EDL - directionless, angry and confused young men looking for an outlet for their fear and hate. Along comes a charismatic leader of a cynical organisation intent on harnessing their resentment for their own warped ends. Your fear and loathing of all things Muslim (you don't hide it very well) is exactly the reaction the terrorists want. They are called terrorists because their key weapon is spreading terror. The fact that you are terrified of anyone who doesn't eat bacon, is evidence of their success in your case. They have played you, and you can't even see it.

I don't think too many are terrified. Pissed off with them and their apologists is a better description. For the most part, they're so ridiculous, they're made for parody and mockery, as in anyone that tries to defend them.
I don't totally disagree, but I've said before, the outpouring to defend any comment on the religion, is not mirrored in condemnation of the terrorists that use the same religion. There's more condemnation of so called blasphemy.
