Mourhino Unhappy At Lack Of Transfers

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Jul 5, 2017.

  1. It's being reported by the BBC and Sky that The Smug One is pissed off at United's lack of transfer business.

The window has barely opened, yet Mourhino is already whining that the owners of United haven't gone out and spent billions on buying him guaranteed glory, next season.

Of course, we all know that Mourhino wants to rape the World's top clubs for their best players, such as Ronaldo, Bale, Kane, and Alli, but in order to get his hands on such players, United's owners would have to fork out £200 million per player - even assuming that the various clubs were willing to sell, which they certainly are not!

Even Lacazette has preferred Arsenal over United, something that must finally hammer home to United's hordes of plastics that the World's best players simply do not see United as being a team that they are prepared to ply their trade, any more.

And, or course, heavy-spenders such as fierce rivals City and Chelsea are more likely to spend the millions necessary to bring in the big names (not that teams are willing to sell, these days).

Without the ability to go out and buy his way to glory, Mourhino is in danger of being exposed as the two-bit, tactically inept, ****e man-manager that most of us with some knowledge of the game have always known him to be. Sure, given a pot of unlimited funds and the ability to go out and rape teams of their best talent (nurtured by proper, skilled coaches), he was able to paper over the cracks of his vast incompetence for several years, but those days are very much gone.

I'd really like you lads to resist the urge to wum this subject, and to give me your genuine views on it. Please.

Do you reckon next season will be the season that we see Mourhino get the sack at United?

This is a big season for him. If he doesn't get what he wants then he'll be off imo.

Did you just list Spurs as a 'world's top clubs' <laugh>

How do you quantify these so called 'top clubs' assuming you're not using trophies as a yardstick?

What's your gross spend per trophy since 1992 out of interest?

  7. You'll need to start your own thread on that one, Tel.

This thread is about Mourhino getting wound up by reason of not being able to sign the players he wants in order to win undeserved glory.

    Thanks for your co-operation, mate.

Clearly you are confusing me with somebody who cares what you want to talk about. <ok>

    Let's discuss your bottle jobs.

Your two most successful league seasons back to back and you won zip, watched from the stands as your team let you down again.

  9. You have clearly forgotten that I have a gross of landing-nets.

I'd be happy to, Tel, but on a separate thread.

This one is about United's bottle jobs.

That's an interesting take on our finishing well above United for two seasons in a row.

I'm looking forward to discussing that on your new thread, Tel.

You couldn't wind me up if your life depended on it dude.

Congrats on finishing above us twice and winning less trophies in both seasons though <ok>

  11. Yes, I can see that.

    Cheers, Tel. That's very kind.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you get on next season. I think the CL is going to be a major distraction for you, as I don't see that you are really up to competing in it, just yet. Still, I will be the first to hold my hands up if you can make it to the quarter final to get smashed by one of the big boys.

You mean like it was a distraction for Spurs this season? You were concentrating on winning the league though, I understand mate.

You've got to prioritise which trophies you want to nearly win the most.

It's nice to see you taking part though in Europe, nice days out for your long suffering supporters.

  13. We did nothing more than make up the numbers in Europe, last season. None know that more than us Yids. It's not something that any of us are happy about.

I know it's easy for me to say it after the event, but if it was a choice between getting knocked out later in the European competitions, or finishing second in the Prem, I would have settled for how it played out, all day long.

I'd rather consolidate our position in the Prem, so that we can get Europe every year, than have a one-off good run in Europe and go back to mid-table obscurity.

He has already admitted that he can't poach players anymore and he used Spurs as the prime example

'I can't go to Tottenham anymore and take their best players, top English teams don't do business with their rivals, the money in football has changed everything'

If Jose ends up managing Blackburn next season is he still going to get all whiney when the team doesn't spend £200million on a tea lady?
