We could have ive just seen this on Facebook. Ive been abit confused as to how many players we were allowed aswell.. @BIG BAZ Hope its not too small to read.
So there's still no cap then on loans then. Just a cap on how many you can play at once. Good to know fella cheers.
Sorry, am I being a bit thick? The second paragraph seems to contradict the first paragraph!? 1st paragraph says you can't play more than 5 loans in a league match, but the 2nd paragraph says you can't sign any more than 4 loans in a season, so how can you possibly play 5 loans in a league game!?
I read the second paragraph as meaning you cannot sign more than 4 players from a single club - so 4 maximum from Everton for example. You can however loan four players from 10 others clubs and lots of loanees in total. That's how I read it but will agree it could be laid out in a clearer manner.
It's the (or club) bit, which I assume is a mistake and should be the plural (or clubs) otherwise why put it in paragraph 2 after "from another club"?
That's not the way I read it, because of the brackets (or any club) bit. It is confusing though. My immediate take was you can have 5 loans, but only 4 in 1 season, which suggests you could sign a player for more than 1 season, then sign another 4 the next season. But that's probably not true either. Just how I read it. We need some expert advice!
I think it reads pretty clear myself. No more than 5 loans on the team sheet, no more than 4 loans from a single club.
So why put (or club) in paragraph 2? I think that's meant to say (or clubs) in which case we are only allowed 4 loans.
Think it's just referencing that some people say club with a capital and some don't. Doubt they've missed an s off, that would render the entire first paragraph incorrect so makes even less sense. Think they're trying to say: only 4 from one Club/club or only 4 from one 'Club' or 'club'
To me this says you get 4 loan players max, two of which need to be under 23yrs old pre-season. You can, however, have 5 loan players on the team sheet, but the 5th would need to be an emergency loan keeper.
I've just found the answer.....https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.co...all-news/coventry-city-how-many-loan-10461342
Coventry article doesn't make it any clearer! It's 2015 and talking about emergency loans, which have been curtailed. i can see nowt on-line which outlines the max no of standard+international loan players allowed in total. It would seem ridiculous that your entire squad could comprise loanees, after the Watford clampdown
Right. You can have up to 16 loan players. 4 of which a long term loans and 12 short term loans. A short term loan is from a minimum of 28 days up to 93
The loan window doesn't open again once the transfer window shuts. Been a rule change. What we've got in September is what we're stuck with till January.
Cheers Bri. So that says Max 4 from one club (short or long term) And a total of 6 long-term loan players in one season, which I presume Inc. international. Let's hope we don't need too many short-term loans.
