I find that statement so ****ing sad.. I have to agree with it tho, I admit that he was great in the beginning. BUT he kinda lost his way, making questionable substitutions. I just hope that Leo Slut will be even better.
There's only really the promotions that count for anything. We didn't qualify for the Europa League and we didn't win the FA Cup final. He is our greatest ever manager, no question, but he never won anything.
If your using that as the basis of SB being the best manager ever.....does that mean the allams are the best owners ever as they oversaw that?
The manager's record is judged on results, the owners record is based on how much of a **** they are, so both are our most successful ever.
It's not really my point, some have said his record shows he is the best manager ever. I have said a few times if that's how we are to view it then we need to keep him until someone better comes along, oh hang on hows that going to happen. I personally wanted him gone ages before he left, so far back i can't remember, i said we should have got Pullis to replace him. If you wish to use the same measures then yes they are our best owners ever, on the other hand since the fall out with the council and all that's gone on since some would say that are getting close to being the worst owners ever. I have wanted them to go for ages too, they have blown all the recent years relative success, a chance to really build something good in the city.
Will never forgive him for not going for it in europe, probably be the only ever time we get there in our history and he didn't give a toss about it.
