    Caen have accepted an English club (most likely us) for Yann Karamoh.

    His lawyer has accepted with Leipzig and St Etienne for a free transfer in January (so he can get a large signing-on fee). Caen have told Karamoh he won't play next season if he stays.

    Someone on twitter claiming to be ITK says Karamoh has agreed with saints and it's just the lawyer holding up a possible done deal.

    I hate agents.

    All it says is they are considering him. When he signed the contract it was all about making an impact in the first team so I both expect and hope him to stay at Saints.

    Not good enough, at least not yet. Started last season well for Blackburn, but he scored 2 goals in his final 23 league matches.

    Sure. But Gabbiadini and Austin wouldn't score 2 in 23 in a poor Blackburn side, and those are the players he needs to supplant to get regular playing time. And if we cannot give him more than occasional looks in, it's better for his development to be playing weekly in the Championship.

    Would like him to succeed but haven't seen enough potential to warrant the excitement some people lavish. For me CDM has similar physical requirements to CB, players need physical presence which he will never have. Happy to be proven wrong.

    Not so sure about that as a general point, but I agree there must be a reason why he has been overlooked by 2 (maybe 4 if you count Poch and Pellegrino) managers. I've always been impressed with him whenever he has played though

    That's why the best defensive midfield player over the last 2 seasons in the Premiership.... Kante, Leicester and Chelsea is just a tad over 5 foot 5 inches. He'ed be unstoppable if he was 6'5'... I don't think...
