Signings today Anyone???

Surely we need to have a the deal(s) tied up today to allow them a training session with their new team amtes and get them sorted for the mackems!!!

I think having a new left back in for sat is a must and whilst I think a striker is a top priority, we can wait for that is must.

What do u think our line up will look like on sat and what what you pick if you were in charge??

Don't think we are getting anyone today. NUFC.com are the most reliable source and don't seem to think we are close on either deal. Thats not saying either isn't going to happen, just no imminently. The seem to think Pieters is in PSV's squad for their game tomorrow night.

 

going by various reports today, the only one likely to go ahead quickly would be bridge on loan (pls pls pls NO) over to you pardew to show us

 

NUFC.com know about as much as everyone on here, at the end of the day its just a fan site, they aint journo's. All they do is rehash stories from the media.

They are far more accurate than other media sources. Fair enough they do report stories of players we are linked with in the paper but they only ever go to town on ones that usually happen. Its obvious they have contacts somewhere to enable them to be so accurate!!

Think Pieters is fairly much done deal just being held up because his nan died, bloody inconvenient if you ask me, dosen't she know we've got the Makems this weekend?

I know it's not ideal but I would put money on Pardew starting Ba and Shola together.

I know for a fine fact Pardew won't play anything like this but this is what I think would work effectively.

as for a stiker then no chance were no closer than we were a month ago, it has all gone quite again
