Agree. We cannot go into PL games in January with kids on the bench. Hopefully we won't have the same number of injuries but given that we play a high tempo game, we need options other than a 16 year old. 4 more players. Minimum.

IF we sign Keita VVD and Robertson, it means the likes of Milner, Lallana and Lovren move to the bench. Instantly improves the depth of the squad.

'If' is the problem though. We know that Klopp won't sign players for the sake of it. He has personally been involved with most of the targets and interestingly every one wants to come. Now the club have to deliver his expectations.

CL a red herring. A max of two extra games a month isnt that big a deal. People make more out of it than they need to.

It might mean priorities being set in some back to back games.

 

If we sign those 4 our transfer fees would be north of £200m
and then their is the increase in the wage bill.If we buy VVD* & Keita think you can forget any other big transfers unless Couts goes.

* really think VVD aint going to happen but then these days whilst madness reigns who can tell.

 

I suspect we may get Keita next summer when his buy out clause kicks in.
