Frydays Anlaby, not only the best fish and chips, but you can order them on a plate with a knife and fork. A word of warning though, they get in a right state if you bring in a bottle of chilled Sauvignon Blanc and two plastic glasses. Never again.

I'm open on the hot v cold debate but there are some alte kaempfers who insist on piping hot tea only and take umbridge at anything else. One other thing about the plate, again, some insist on the plate being hot which is something that surely the 'plate bringers' miss out on.
There was a chippy in Redbourne Street, opposite the police station, my mum would send me there to get our own fish fried. Can't remember if I had to buy chips or just pay for the frying though.
Loons!!! Now that is pretty apt on this Forum Anyway the fish sounds very nice mate. I'm currently in Cala Bona in a really nice Hotel. At Dinner time the guy Griddles fresh Cod and Swordfish with lemon juice. It's really nice.

Chinese menus do my head in. There's too much I like, it takes me forever to choose. Prawn toast is a must though. My father-in-law puts salt on his Chinese. ****ing idiot.
It's piss easy to cook. It's also easy to see why many immigrants from HK just set up take-aways here without previous experience.
