Young but exciting. Apparently the Karamoh rumours have come from the Sun. So stand down? Apparently very real interest.
For **** sake, I see a few extra pages and was looking forward to coming on to discuss Rickie after putting nipper to bed. But nooooo, the subject matter has been sidetracked now
Seem to be targeting a fair few young players this window, which is good to see. I just hope we sign a good mix of players for the future and those that can come in and improve our starting 11 immediately.
I've felt like our U23's could do with a few extra players for a couple of seasons since we started loaning them out. Combined with players moving to the first team and injuries it felt like our youth squad keeps getting decimated. While its good to give the U18's a chance, i think we've been taking that bit too far in recent seasons where we've had at times, an u23 team that's almost totally u18s. So i think signing some quality young players who will be in and out of the first team and youth squad will add to the depth in both and also help bring out the talent in some of our young stars who can only improve with more quality talent around them.
Is it time for me to edit the thread title in an ever-so-rye-commentary-on-how-the-thread-is-going kind of way? No, I thought not.
I like it that we're being linked to younger players with first team experience. Still think we will sign a couple of more experienced players, but those transfers usually take a bit longer as selling clubs usually try to have a replacement before
A quick look on Youtube (yes, I know) suggests he is: - primarily right sided - somewhat two footed - seems to have the potential for an end product I have always had the impression our current attacking wide players are very one footed. Also we only really have Redmond who plays on the right. And towards the end of the season he played on the left with JWP on the right anyway...
